The third event in our series of Community Connections was held at the end of May. Community Constable Chris Connolly was kept busy with a steady stream of questions — and as always, he had an answer for everyone (even if it wasn’t always the one people were hoping for!).

The real highlight of this series is always meeting so many people who genuinely care about their neighbourhoods. There’s still plenty of work ahead, but the important thing is that everyone is talking, connecting, and supporting one another.
In this series we also heard from Community Patrols about the work they do. Also Arron King from FENZ shared some helpful reminders about keeping fire hydrants visible. If you spot the orange road triangle and footpath marker near your property, please help by keeping grass clear and avoiding parking over hydrants.

Useful information is always followed by plenty of chatting, networking, and swapping contact details throughout the evening.
We plan on rolling out more of these neighbourhood based events. Keep an eye out for them.
