Haeata Charitable Trust and WBOP Neighbourhood Support Host Free Community Event to Promote Connectedness and Safety in Gate Pā
[Gate Pā, New Zealand] — Haeata Charitable Trust, in partnership with Western Bay of Plenty Neighbourhood Support (WBOPNS), is pleased to invite the community to a free event aimed at promoting community connectedness and safety.
The event will take place on Saturday, 16 November 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at ANZAC Park, Gate Pā. In case of rain, the event will be rescheduled to Saturday, 23 November 2024.
This fun neighbours day will highlight the importance of staying connected within the community. Attendees will have access to valuable information about local community services, community safety, enjoy entertainment and spot prizes, and have the opportunity to purchase food from local vendors. The event also provides a platform for local groups to fundraise.
Raising Awareness for the New Gate Pā Community Centre A key focus of the event is to raise awareness for the new community centre facility set to be built next to ANZAC Park. This new centre will become a vibrant hub for Gate Pā residents.
