Welcome to Western Bay of Plenty (WBOP) Neighbourhood Support. We are a community-led charitable organisation whose Vision is to build safe, supportive and connected communities. Our volunteer work is aimed at helping people feel safe in their homes and neighbourhoods.  We help people find, receive and distribute information and support to their neighbours, especially in times of difficulty.  We help neighbourhoods create a sense of belonging, respect and inclusion for everyone.  We help neighbourhoods feel connected and welcomed and build friendly relationships, spaces, places and communication networks.  We help empower neighbourhoods to feel confident in taking action on community needs and provide opportunities for neighbours to create neighbourhoods that are great places to live, work and play.
